Staff members generally work on a 6-step pay system,
with annual step increases awarded in addition to an inflationary
increase. New employees may be started above Step
1 (entry level), based on previous
experience. Effective Feb. 2009, wage ranges for road positions are as
follows, depending upon employment classification:
