HVA breaks ground for new headquarters in Pittsfield Township

"The new building will be twice the size of HVA's current building."
The official groundbreaking for the new Huron Valley Ambulance administration facility was held on Friday, June 25, 2004 at their recently purchased property on State Circle near I-94 in Pittsfield Township.  HVA Board of Trustees Chair Richard Lundy turned  the first shovel of dirt to begin the project.  Other Board members, HVA managers, and employees also attended to celebrate the event.  Dick Lundy (left) and HVA President and CEO Dale Berry are pictured here at the site.

The new building, which has been in the planning stages for three years, will be about twice the size of HVA's current headquarters on Hogback Road in Pittsfield Township.  It will include 14,600 square feet for offices, conference rooms and classrooms and 4800 square feet for ambulance preparation and maintenance.  The building was designed by Michael F. Pogliano Architects of Saline and will be built by the Saline Construction Company of Ann Arbor.  Site engineering will be provided by Midwestern Consulting of Ann Arbor.  The building is expected to be completed by Spring 2005.
