FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions:

How do I call for an ambulance?
For a medical emergency, always call 9-1-1.  Your call will be answered by the closest police dispatching center and then transferred to HVA.  The dispatcher will first get help on the way to you, and then ask you additional questions about what is going on.  The dispatcher may stay on the line with you and give you directions on how to help yourself (or the patient) until help arrives.

For non-emergency ambulance transport, call 1-800-872-1111.
