HVA Adds New Board Members

Two new members have joined the HVA Board of Trustees. John Thorhauer, President and CEO of United Methodist Retirement Communities in Chelsea, is serving a 3-year term which began in January. Thorhauer is the first CEO from a skilled nursing facility to serve on the HVA Board.

Robert Casalou, President and CEO of St. Joseph Mercy Health System, has also joined for a 3-year term. Over the past 30 years, HVA has always included a hospital CEO on our Board.

Jackie Liebowitz, Vice President for Patient Care Continuum at Allegiance Health in Jackson has been elected as Chair of the HVA Board. Richard Lundy from Dexter will serve as Vice Chair. Joe Dulin, retired principal, Roberto Clemente Center, Ann Arbor Public Schools is serving as our Secretary/Treasurer, as well as Chair of the Board's Finance Committee.
